GEORGIA CENSUS OF MURRAY COUNTY
1834


     Georgia's constitution required a census to be taken at least every seven years for the purpose of allocating seats in the legislature. The results of the state census taken in 1834 follows:

We, James Edmondson, James Kincannon, and Eli Bowlin, Justices of the Inferior Court for said County do hereby certify that we did on the 3rd day of March 1834 appoint Middleton Blalock to take the census of said county, which the said Blalock has performed in terms of the statute — a certified copy is hereinto annexed — this 1st day of April 1834.
